Hello and welcome back to the Ultimate Beginners Guide to Cities Skylines 2! In today’s video, we’ll cover a number of topics including local utility production (geothermal power plants), exporting utilities, how and why buildings level up and why it matters, and adjusting taxes to balance budget. We'll grow our city significantly, begin work on our downtown, and build a parclo interchange. We'll also build a university and two specialized industries - forestry and stone mining. And by the end, we'll have a completely balanced budget. Series Info: If you just picked up Cities Skylines and are struggling to build a thriving city, I’m here to help! In this series, The Ultimate Beginners Guide to Cities Skylines 2, I’ll help you build a thriving city, starting with the modest bones of a small town and slowly growing it into a megalopolis! Along the way, we’ll explore the game’s mechanics and I’ll share tips and tricks I’ve learned from my time with the game. I’ll also share how I design cities based upon my experience as a real-life city planner. This is an ongoing series that we’ll also use to explore new DLCs and Content Creator Packs as they are introduced to the game.
